Product Purposes
All products supplied by Grandad's Miniatures are intended for decorative purposes only. They are not toys and are not intended for use by children. Grandad's Miniatures accept no liability for the fitness of our products for any purpose other than purely decorative. Products may be fragile and should be handled with great care.
Defects
Products supplied by Grandad's Miniatures are made from materials such as wood and marble, which may inherently contain natural flaws and defects. The presence of such defects does not in itself render the product itself defective.
Maintenance
Great care should be taken when cleaning items supplied by Grandad's Miniatures. Harsh abrasives and certain solvents may cause damage. If in doubt please contact us by email, and we will give whatever advice we can. We accept no liability for any damage caused by inappropriate cleaning methods.
Shortages and non supply
Please check your delivery note and invoice for goods supplied.
If there are any shortages or discrepancies, please let us know
within 48 hours of receipt of your delivery. Claims for
shortages or discrepancies received after this time can not be entertained.
Transport damage
Upon
arrival of any consignment, please note whether package(s)
delivered are complete and in good condition. Any visible damage
should be noted on the courier's delivery note.
Any transport damage should be reported to Grandad's Miniatures within 24 hours by telephone or email.
Failure to adhere to these points may result in rejection of the
claim.
Return of incorrectly supplied goods - If you wish to return any of our products which you have received due to an error on our part, please advise us within 48 hours of receipt of these goods. We will refund the cost of returning the goods to us. The parcel is your responsibility until we receive it, so we recommend you package it well, and use a recorded delivery service. We will contact you to acknowledge receipt of returned goods.
Return of unwanted goods - If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return any goods un-opened, un-used and in original condition within 7 days of receipt. Please contact us as soon as possible to notify us of your intention to return goods. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. The parcel is your responsibility until we receive it, so we recommend you package it well, and use a recorded delivery service. We will contact you to acknowledge receipt of returned goods. (This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.)
Mistakes in bills, receipts or payments - We will correct any mistakes in bills, receipts or payments as soon as possible.
Complaints - If you wish to complain about any aspect of our service then please email us in the first instance at support@grandadsminiatures.com explaining the nature of your complaint. We will respond as soon as possible giving you either a solution or a reasonable timescale for resolving the dispute. It is our intention to resolve disputes fairly, confidentially, effectively and speedily.
